Alfa Menu

Privacy policy

Alfa Menu lets restaurants publish their menu online. This page explains what data is collected and how it is used.

Account data: restaurant name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form) and app language.

Published content: restaurant profile (name, photo, description, address, phone) and dishes (names, descriptions, prices, photos, videos). This content is public: anyone with the link or QR code can view it.

Photos are re-encoded on upload, which removes their metadata (including GPS location). Video sound is removed.

Technical data: IP addresses and server logs, kept for security (abuse prevention).

Service providers: emails (verification codes) are sent through Resend; photos and videos are stored with Cloudflare (R2). No data is sold or used for advertising.

Retention: data is kept as long as the account exists. Deleting a dish immediately deletes its photos and videos.

Deletion: the app lets you permanently delete your account (Settings, Delete my account). All restaurant data is then erased.
